The owner of any manufacturing establishment seeking to obtain exemption from ad valorem taxes levied by the town shall apply to and comply with all requirements of the State Tax Commission for the exemption from local property taxes; the determination of the State Tax Commission that such new manufacturing establishment or any new additions, including machinery and equipment, is qualified to be exempt from local property taxes shall constitute a determination that such establishment is exempt from real and personal ad valorem taxes granted under the provisions of this article.  This exemption shall be granted for no more than five years but must be applied for annually.  For more information, contact the Town of Great Falls at 803-482-2055.
